Carrie B McGowan was born in Stratford on January 23, 1894 to Millie Dalyrmple McGowan and James Joseph McGowan. She lived in Stratford till approximately 1915, when she moved to Manheim and married Arthur Boehm. Carrie would have been educated in Stratford School District #4 in Emmonsburg.
